Thanks to everyone for the quick feedback about shutting Douglas Creek Canal off for maintenance.  The unanimous consensus from those who responded is to go ahead and shut down as soon as possible.  Therefore, I plan to shut Douglas canal off tomorrow afternoon, Thursday the 28th.  It will remain off for a minimum of 7 days, and possibly up to 10 days if conditions warrant and user needs allow.
