The Nevada Creek  W.U.A. has repair projects planned for this fall season to upper sections of Douglas Creek Canal.  This includes the replacement of 900′ of canal liner.  In order to prep for this work, the canal will need to be completely de-watered and allowed to dry.  Due to the often limited time frame that is available before freezing weather conditions occur, we will have need to begin this process as soon as possible.

As per our water right for contracted water, contract deliveries will end on October 1st as is typical.  Due to the need to de-water the canal, delivery of decreed right-of-way water & stock water will also need to be terminated for the season on October 1st.  Irrigators & stock owners on Douglas Creek Canal should prepare for this situation.
