…Significant rises in creeks and rivers to continue through
Monday….
Periods of rain Saturday evening through Monday afternoon will
add to rising water levels caused by snowmelt.
Smaller streams and creeks remain most susceptible to minor
flooding, but significant rises for many of the main stem rivers
across western Montana will continue. In northwest Montana, the
Yaak and Fisher rivers could approach flood stage by Monday
morning.
Snow levels will will drop to near 6000 feet on Sunday, and even
lower by Monday morning, so snow is expected in the higher
terrain Sunday through Monday morning.
