Nevada Creek Alert – Update
The anticipated high flows reported in the Nevada Creek Alert from earlier this morning is now downgraded. Manual inspections and readings from the gaging sites above and below the reservoir show a discrepancy with one of them. My readings now show the discharge from the reservoir leveling at 740 to 750 cfs. While somewhat lower than the earlier expected flows, this is still the highest that we have recorded this season. It should be noted that more rain is predicted for tonight through Saturday morning, so flows could still rise substantially in the following days.
