On this coming Wednesday, the 18th of June, I am planning to do the injection of Cascade aquatic herbicide into Douglas canal. This process will be the same as we did last season. This process will start in the morning and take ~9 hours to complete. During this time I will need to regulate the flow on Douglas canal to 30 to 35 cfs, which means that there will probably be some minor disruption to those who are receiving irrigation water at the time. Sorry, but this cannot be helped. The normal flow will be returned when the treatment is completed.
As a reminder, Cascade aquatic herbicide is totally fish friendly, and is non-toxic to to livestock & other wildlife.
